Dear Friends,

My family and I want to say a heartfelt “Thank You” to all of you that supported my candidacy.  I am humbled by and grateful for your gracious support and friendship.  Many of you placed signs in your yards, made phone calls, sent financial contributions and visited with your neighbors and family members about the importance of electing an experienced educator and curriculum specialist to the SBOE.  Because of your tireless efforts we won 15 of the 16 counties in District 10!

I am excited to have the opportunity to serve the people in District 10 as your representative on the State Board of Education.  Soon, I’ll begin coordinating meetings with each school district in District 10 so I can know firsthand the successes and challenges facing our schools.  Like you, I am dedicated to making our public schools the best they can be.  Our children deserve nothing less.
